Ever fancied teaching just your specialist subject in a primary setting?
A lot of our teachers come from a primary school background and simply do not want to teach the entire curriculum and want to focus only on their specific subject. Some of our teachers come from a secondary background and want to convert their skills to primary, which we train them to do. Alternatively, our staff come from a professional industry background e.g. former athletes, West End stars, former professional dancers, actors, professional musicians etc.
Please register below to become part of our PPA Teacher Database. You must have experience teaching children, be qualified to degree level or equivalent in your subject area, or have QTS (PGCE qualification). Please note that your registration will not be accepted if you do not attach a CV or if you leave any required field blank (*).
Your details will be stored in our Teacher Database and we will be in touch should a position arise in your area. A number of our teaching positions are part-time and we would therefore encourage teachers even with limited availability to register with us as we may have the perfect opportunity to suit you.
If you only want to be contacted for cover work (as and when it occurs), please complete the form and specify “Cover Teacher”.
Comments from staff members congratulating Leah Moore – Languages coordinator on winning employee of the year:
"Leah is absolutely great! So confident in what she does and so emphatetic I couldn't think of anyone else winning this award! From the very begining of my collaboration with PPA cover she's been absolutely great, always helpful and resourceful. Unfortunately, I did have to call her sometimes out of the office time and she's been absolutely there for me, always showing support and profesionalism. I would like to congratulate her on this award and wish her good luck in all her future plans!"
“Congratulations Leah! I heard that you have been voted, by all of your colleagues at HQ, for Employee of the Year! I am not surprised at all. As I mentioned to you in my latest e-mail, you have really worked very hard and given us so much support as a PPA Teacher at Ravensthorpe Primary School, thank you so much!
It takes special dedication and perseverance to get through such demanding work, especially when working with a foreign teacher with a funny accent like me! You have been so patient, and I really appreciate it.
Your achievement is an example to us all.
All the best to you. Keep in touch and looking forward to working with you again!”
“Leah has been a very inspiring and supportive manager, whenever I have needed to discuss work related issues she was always there to help".
