News & Blog

According to the latest polls, the most important language to learn once we leave the EU is Spanish, closely followed by Mandarin and French. Many schools are still under the impression that simply learning numbers and days of the week will help their children once they reach secondary school. Not only is this not the case, but will not help them to even order food and drink when they go to these countries. We are urging you to ‘Go The Extra Mile’ for your children and have a specialist language person within the school. They will work alongside your subject leader to make the action plan for the year and what children will achieve.

If this is something you don’t think you are meeting currently, please give us a call!

All too often we as adults focus on the negative aspects of the classroom - what didn't go well, what we could have done better and what we could have said. We need to start focusing on the positives - what a child thought or said that we hadn't expected, where their thought process came from and how well they are achieving in each topic. Data is what is looked at rather than how the children are feeling in the school and what is going on around them.

We at Primary PPA Cover are commited to focusing on the positives - children are engaged and learning through a variety of resources. They are encouraged to work together and reach an outcome based on their own findings.

To find out more on what we have to offer, please call us on 01530 566750. We are now taking bookings for September so do get in touch to secure the days you need!
